現代社会の複雑さ、相互依存性、不安定性に対応する力としてのレジリエンスは、復元力、回復力、強靭力、弾力性などと解釈される。リスク、経済、生態系、心理、文化など多様な分野にわたる21世紀の重要概念でもある。レジリエンスは、身近なモノから電気などの社会インフラ、そして地球システム全体の中に見いだせるが、地域との関わりでは、人口減少や少子高齢化、地方経済や文化衰退などの社会的課題に直面する地域コミュニティが、ストレスに絶えながらも柔軟に対応していく力といえよう。本プロジェクトでは、岐阜県の中山間部でのフィールドワークを通じて、社会インフラ、適正技術の適用、伝統文化の記録、そして住民自治と紐帯に注視しながらコミュニティ?レジリエンスについて調査し、持続可能な地域社会とレジリエンスについて考察?検討を行っている。今年度は、各メンバーがフィールドワークから見出したレジリエンスを展示として可視化させ、また報告書にまとめた。
Resilience as the ability to cope with the complexity, interdependence, and unwanted qualities of modern society can be interpreted as touch, elastic, and having the ability to recover. It is also a key concept for the 21 century, spanning fields as diverse as risk, economics, performance systems, psychology, and culture. Resilience can be found in the things around us, in social infrastructures such as electricity, and the global system as a whole. In relation to the earth, resilience is the ability of a local community to flexibly cope with stress while facing social challenges such as population decline, low birthrate, aging population, local economy, and cultural decline. This project investigates community resilience through fieldwork in the mountainous areas of Gifu Prefecture, focusing on social infrastructure, the application of appropriate technology, the documentation of traditional culture, and the autonomy of residents and relationships. This year, the resilience discovered by each member through fieldwork will be visualized as an exhibition, and a report will be compiled.
