The Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) is a school which aims to fuse scientific thinking and artistic sense. Through a profound focus on both theoretical and practical faculty research, the school also looks as to how to shape a new future society through creatively developing and nurturing “highly creative individuals”. It is a graduate school that opened its doors in Gifu prefecture in 2001 with the aim of advancing academic culture and contributing to the development of the local area.
